The FRM220-OAB15 is a single-channel Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) booster line card designed for the FRM220 chassis rack, offering exceptional performance in the C-band. With an output power of up to 15 dBm, it delivers a large dynamic range while maintaining excellent broadband noise performance. This EDFA features Automatic Constant Power Control (APC) and Automatic Constant Current (ACC), both of which can be managed through the rack interface or an RS-232 console. Additionally, its fast transient suppression ensures the output power remains stable during rapid fluctuations in input power, making it ideal for demanding applications. With a low noise figure and low power dissipation, the FRM220-OAB15 provides a reliable and efficient solution for optical amplification needs.
