D.C.T. Digital Communication Technologies Ltd. (“DCT”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website dct.co.il (the “Website”), how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It is written in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13) and the regulations under it. Using the Website or submitting information through it means you have read this policy.

1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What information we collect

• Information you give us: when you fill in a contact, quote, support or subscription form, or contact us by email or WhatsApp – your name, company, email address, phone number, the content of your message and any files you upload (for example, order or model numbers and technical details).
• Purchase and account information: if you place an order or open an account – billing and delivery details and order history. Payment card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring source and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

You are not legally required to provide any information. However, without the details marked as required in a form we may not be able to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote or provide support.

3. How we use your information

• To answer inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and provide technical support and warranty service.
• To manage our customer relationship and keep a record of our communication with you.
• To send you newsletters, product updates and offers – only if you agreed to receive them (see section 5).
• To operate, secure and improve the Website, prevent spam and abuse, and measure the performance of our content and advertising.
• To comply with legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting records) and to protect our rights.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed for the purposes above, with:

• Service providers that process information on our behalf: website hosting and maintenance, customer relationship management (CRM), email and newsletter platforms, analytics and advertising services (such as Google), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), messaging services (WhatsApp), payment and delivery providers. These providers are allowed to use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Manufacturers we represent: where needed to handle your request – for example, to provide a quote, technical answer, warranty or repair service.
• Authorities and legal proceedings: when required by law or court order, or to protect our rights.
• A successor business: in case of a merger, acquisition or sale of DCT’s activity, subject to this policy.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Israel. Such transfers are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations.

5. Newsletters and marketing messages

We send newsletters and marketing messages only to people who agreed to receive them, in accordance with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any message or by writing to [email protected]. You may also ask to be removed from any direct-mail database we hold.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies – our own and those of third parties such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads – to keep the Website working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Website and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features of the Website may not work properly without them. To opt out of Google Analytics you can use Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and for the period required by law (for example, accounting records). Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.

8. Information security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures, in line with the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, to protect your information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law you have the right to review the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. 10. Minors

The Website is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Links to other websites

The Website contains links to manufacturers’ and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we recommend reading their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with its update date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website.
