The MICROTEST 8740K Series Cable Harness Tester is an advanced testing solution designed for wire and connector production. It offers up to 1024 testing points and supports a variety of testing capabilities, including continuity testing, open/short circuit detection, AC/DC hipot testing, DC insulation resistance measurement, and component testing (resistors, capacitors, and diodes). The tester delivers a maximum AC withstand voltage of 700V and a maximum DC withstand voltage of 1000V. It features a two-wire measurement technology, making it ideal for products that do not require very low resistance measurements while considering cost-effective testing fixture options. Additional functionalities include automatic detection of normal or reversed wire/connectors, multiple DUT testing, and integration with barcode scanning and printing systems. The MICROTEST 8740K Series also supports PC connectivity software for seamless automation in testing processes.
