2-Wire Cable Tester Series 8740NA
- Supports 128 / 256 / 512 test pins, allowing flexible test coverage for various harness and connector configurations.
- Performs Open/Short, Resistance, Conductance, Capacitance, Diode, AC/DC Hipot, Leakage, and Insulation Resistance tests.
- Hipot ranges: AC 100–700V, DC 50–1000V, with ±5% output accuracy and 5VA power rating.
- Offers Auto / Manual / External Trigger test modes and can store up to 500 test setups with programmable sequence flow.
- Interfaces include USB Host, RS-232, and Remote I/O for PC-based operation, barcode scanning, automation control, and data export.
The 8740NA is a high-precision 2-wire cable tester designed for continuity, insulation, leakage, and component verification in connector assemblies and wiring harnesses. It supports up to 512 test pins and provides AC/DC Hipot testing with programmable automatic test flows, making it suitable for production lines, QC inspection, and harness manufacturing.
