The 8740FA is a 2-wire cable and harness tester designed for continuity, shorts, resistance, capacitance, insulation resistance, and AC/DC Hipot testing. It supports 128, 256, or 512 test pins, allowing it to accommodate small to large wire harnesses, multi-pin connectors, and production line testing. The system provides automatic, manual, and external trigger test modes, plus memory storage for up to 500 test programs, enabling efficient repeatable QA workflows.
