2-Wire Cable Tester Series 8740
- Supports 128 / 256 / 512 test pins for various harness and connector complexity levels.
- Performs Open/Short, Resistance, Conductance, Capacitance, Diode, AC/DC Hipot, Leakage, and Insulation tests accurately.
- Hipot ranges: AC 100–700V (8740N/8740NA); AC 100–1000V (8740FA) and DC 50–1000V (8740N/8740NA); 50–1500V (8740FA).
- Auto / Manual / External Trigger operation modes with programmable test sequencing and up to 500 stored test setups.
- Equipped with USB Host, RS-232, and Remote I/O for data retrieval, barcode scanning, and PC connectivity.
The 8740 Series are 2-wire cable testers designed for precise continuity, insulation, component, and Hipot verification in cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and connectors. With support for up to 512 pins and full programmable auto-testing modes, these testers are suitable for production lines, QC inspection, and maintenance environments.
