    LAN-XPT is post-connected to the COM0 interface of the GPS167 and allows communication with the receiver via network instead of a direct serial interface connection.

    Features

    • Allows configuration and status queries via network (TCP/IP) either via SNMP or special software (GPSMON32 )
    • Supported networking protocols: IPv4, SNMP, TELNET, GPSMON32
    • Optional extension of a GPS167 receiver, converts the first serial interface (COM0) into an Ethernet interface
    • Supports SNMP requests as well as SNMP Traps (alarm messages for defined events, e.g. NOT SYNC or ANTENNA FAULTY)
    • 10baseT/100baseT Autosensing
    • Auto detection by the GPS 167 firmware after installation Configuration of TCP/IP network parameters (IP address, netmask, default gateway) either via the front panel LC display, via DHCP or via network (software GPSMON32 )

    Overview

    LAN-XPT is post-connected to the COM0 interface of the GPS167 and allows communication with the receiver via network instead of a direct serial interface connection. Using the GPSMON32 software it is possible to change configurations or to inquire the receivers status information. The necessary network parameters (IP address, netmask, default gateway) can be set either via the front panels LC display by menu (if the firmware of the receiver allows this) or via network (automatically by DHCP or manually using TELNET or our GPSMON32 software).
