This managed industrial-grade IEC61850 Gigabit Ethernet switch is designed for high-reliability communication in harsh environments, meeting the requirements of IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. It features 8 Gigabit UTP ports and 3 100/1000 SFP slots, offering versatile connectivity options. The switch supports redundant and isolated power inputs with options for 24/48VDC and 110/220V AC/DC, ensuring continuous operation even in power failure scenarios. It also includes robust link redundancy protocols such as STP, RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, and a proprietary μ-Ring protocol, delivering recovery times under 10ms for network stability. Additional advanced features include IGMP, VLAN, QoS, ACL, security, IPv6, bandwidth control, port mirroring, and IEEE 1588 PTP V2 for precise time synchronization across different network topologies. Built for durability, it operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and comes in a fanless, IP30-rated metal housing for rugged environments. The switch supports flexible network topologies, including μ-Ring, μ-Chain, and Sub-Ring configurations, and provides cable diagnostics to identify issues like broken cable points. It can be mounted on DIN rails or walls and is equipped with EMS management for easy monitoring and control.
