The managed industrial-grade IEC61850 Gigabit Ethernet switch is designed to meet the rigorous requirements of IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, making it ideal for use in harsh substation environments. It features 8x 10/100Mbps UTP ports and 3x 100/1000Mbps SFP slots, offering a variety of redundant functions to enhance communication reliability, including isolated low-voltage (24/48VDC) and high-voltage (110/220VAC/DC) power inputs, along with advanced link redundancy protocols such as STP, RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, and a proprietary ring protocol. The switch supports IGMP, VLAN, QoS, ACL, security, IPv6, bandwidth control, and port mirroring. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and features a fanless, rugged IP30 metal enclosure that is both DIN Rail and wall mountable. Additional capabilities include cable diagnostics, IEEE 1588 PTP V2 for precise time synchronization, and support for μ-Ring, μ-Chain, and Sub-Ring topologies with recovery times of less than 10ms in up to 250 units. The switch is designed for easy EMS management and offers flexible configuration options for high-availability industrial networks.
