E1/T1 Cross Rate Converter Card FRM220-FTEC
- T1/E1 Signal Conversion Seamlessly converts between T1 (US) and E1 (EU) signals for flexible interoperability.
- Framing and Line Code Support T1 supports D4(SF) or ESF with B8ZS/AMI; E1 supports CCS (PCM31) or CAS (PCM30) with/without CRC-4.
- Encoding Standards Utilizes u-Law for T1 and A-Law for E1 to encode analog voice into 64kbps digital data.
- Diagnostics and Management Perform local/remote diagnostics via console or web-based management; supports T1/E1 loopback.
- Standalone Operation Configurable via DIP switches when used in a single-slot chassis without management.
The E1/T1 Cross Rate Converter Card FRM220-FTEC is a versatile, high-performance device designed to seamlessly convert and cross-connect T1 (US Standard) and E1 (European Standard) signals. This converter facilitates the conversion of one T1 signal to one E1 signal, enabling smooth interoperability between different telecommunication systems. It supports T1 framing formats including D4 (SF) or ESF with B8ZS or AMI line codes, and E1 framing options such as CCS (PCM31) or CAS (PCM30) with or without CRC-4, utilizing HDB3 line coding for the E1 interface. The card employs u-Law compander encoding for T1 and A-Law for E1 to digitize analog voice signals into 64kbps data streams. Users can perform extensive diagnostics, including T1 and E1 local/remote loopback tests, either through a local console interface or via web-based management of the FRM220. In standalone mode, the card can be configured using DIP switches when installed in a single-slot chassis. This makes the FRM220-FTEC a reliable solution for efficient signal conversion and fault diagnostics in diverse telecommunication environments.
