2-Wire Cable Tester Series 8740N
- Supports 128 / 256 / 512 test pins for different cable and harness configurations.
- Performs Open/Short, Resistance, Conductance, Capacitance, Diode, AC/DC Hipot, Insulation, and Leakage tests.
- Hipot ranges: AC 100–700V, DC 50–1000V, output accuracy ±5% with rated 5VA output.
- Auto / Manual / External Trigger modes with 500 setup memory and programmable test sequencing.
- Interfaces include USB Host, RS-232, and Remote I/O for PC control, barcode scanning, and data export.
The 8740N is a 2-wire cable tester designed for continuity, insulation, leakage, and component verification in wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies. It supports scalable pin counts up to 512 and includes AC/DC Hipot testing for production and QC inspection workflows.
