8 Mbps 4 slot Modular Indoor Unit (CFM-8-MUX) is designed to fully match various business requirements. The 4 IDU slots can be equipped with three types of interface modules: E1 for voice, V.35 and 2-port 10/100Base-T for data traffic. The 1st slot supports up to 8Mbps with 2Mbps step, and other three – up to 2Mbps. Available capacity combinations are as follows: 1x8Mbps, 6+2Mbps, 4+2+2Mbps, 4x2Mbps.
CFM-8-MUX is compatible with SAF CFM LM radios supporting 8/16/34Mbps rate.
The entire IDU is a 1U high 230mm deep 19″ rack mountable unit and is intended for use with external DC power supply.
The typical non-protected (1+0) link usually comprises 2 Indoor Units, 2 Outdoor Units, two antennas, coaxial cables for interconnection of IDU & ODU, and power supply units.
