The FRM220-10GCM is a high-performance, 10G In-Band Managed Media Converter with two 10GBase-R SFP+ ports and one multi-speed 100M/1G/2.5G/10GBase-T RJ45 port, enabling seamless connection between Ethernet devices and a 10G fiber backbone. It features extensive management capabilities through local and remote access via IP-based interfaces, Web GUI, Telnet, and SNMP, allowing for comprehensive monitoring, configuration, and control of the network. The converter supports key functionalities such as auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDIX, and the forwarding of jumbo frames up to 10KB, as well as advanced diagnostics like BERT and loopback testing. It includes features like Flow Control (Pause), Far End Fault Indication (FEFI), Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT), and Fiber Redundant mode for enhanced reliability. Additionally, it supports Dynamic/Deactivation (D/D) function for compatible SFP fiber transceivers, Auto Laser Shutdown (ALS) for energy efficiency, and online local/remote firmware upgrades.
