The Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle Auxiliary Power Unit (EFV APU) delivers both electrical and hydraulic power to support the operational needs of the EFV. It provides 9.2 kW at 28 VDC with voltage ripple under 100 mV RMS, ensuring stable electrical output regardless of engine speed or load. The hydraulic system delivers 2 GPM at 3,500 PSI to power essential vehicle functions.
Compact and lightweight, the APU system weighs under 200 pounds and stands less than 30 inches tall, making it easy to integrate into vehicle compartments while maintaining high efficiency and reliability in demanding field conditions.
