The ASR-2050 Series Programmable AC/DC Power Source – 500 VA is an advanced, compact power source engineered to deliver precise and stable AC, DC, and AC+DC outputs for a wide array of testing scenarios. With a power output capacity of 500 VA, it supports voltage ranges from 0 to 310 Vrms and frequency settings from 45 Hz to 500 Hz, enabling simulation of global mains conditions and power anomalies such as voltage dips, surges, flickers, and harmonic distortion. The unit is equipped with a high-resolution 3.5-inch TFT LCD display and intuitive front-panel controls, while also offering extensive remote programming and monitoring via USB, LAN, RS-232, and optional GPIB interfaces, compatible with SCPI and LabVIEW drivers for easy integration into automated test systems. The ASR-2050 features a high-speed transient response, low total harmonic distortion (THD < 0.5%), and a built-in power analyzer capable of measuring Vrms, Irms, Vpeak, Ipeak, true power (W), apparent power (VA), reactive power (VAR), power factor, crest factor, and total harmonic distortion. Its sequence programming and LIST/STEP modes allow users to create and execute complex voltage/frequency variation profiles, ideal for compliance testing, EMC pre-compliance, and stress testing.
