The MICROTEST 8740 Series Cable Harness Tester is a versatile and cost-effective solution designed for testing cable harnesses, connectors, and other wiring components. It offers a wide range of testing capabilities, including Continuity Tests, Open/Short Circuit Detection, AC/DC Hipot Tests, DC Insulation Tests, and Quick Conductance Measurements. With support for 128, 256, or 512 test points, this tester can handle up to 500 sets of test files and is capable of automatically identifying the normal or reverse plug-in configuration of wires or connectors. The tester provides high safety standards with a maximum AC withstand voltage output of 1000V and a maximum DC withstand voltage output of 1500V. It also supports automated processes with bar code scanning and printing functionality, as well as PC connectivity for efficient line testing in wire and connector production environments.
